Exposed aggregate concrete is a decorative style of concrete which when finished gives a flat, long wearing surface very suitable for public walkways and roadways.
During installation the top layer of the newly poured concrete is removed to reveal the stones (aggregate) near the surface giving a lovely natural finish. Specially selected aggregates and coloured pigments can be added to the concrete at the batch plant to achieve a wide variety of different effects. Extra stones can also be "seeded" on to the top of the wet concrete to again create different coloured looks.
Aggregates are available in a range of colours including white, green, gold, tan, black, grey, mid brown, pink and variegated hues. Pigments come in a wide selection of colours.
Panorama Concrete has a wide selection of samples of coloured pigments and stones at our Display Site at 1 Maple Avenue, Forestville 5035
